Inn Lay
This project is inspired by Inle Lake, a quiet gem in Myanmar where fishermen move like dancers, balancing on small boats with nets that glisten like water. I took this image with me—knitting a net, threading in beads, choosing soft, earthy tones like the lotus silk woven from the lake itself. Blending this with the spirit of Scott Barrie, whose flowing gowns celebrated freedom and grace, I’ve created something that moves between worlds—one rooted in heritage, the other in performance.
